October 8, 2016 Meeting Minutes
The
Italian-American Genealogy Group (Washington, DC Metropolitan Area) did
not conduct its quarterly meeting on October 8, 2016. Instead, our
regular meeting was substituted with a luncheon
because the libraries have scheduled voter registration for all
Saturdays in October 2016. It was a delicious lunch and conversation
among all attendees.

meeting in January 2017. Also go to our Facebook Page and ask to join our
friends. Both our webpage, our Facebook page and emails can keep
us informed about future events and help us stay connected with our

~ Our next meeting:
Our
next meeting is tentatively planned for a Saturday morning in January
2017. We normally reserve a room either at either the Dolly Madison
Library in McLean, or the Westover Library in Falls Church. Please
verify the actual date, time and place by viewing our website at: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~vapip6gs. After our meetings some of us go out to lunch at a local Italian restaurant and everyone is welcome.

~ We would like someone to develop
a flyer to use as a handout with information about our Italian-American Genealogy Group (Washington, DC Metropolitan
Area). We would like to distribute these flyers at upcoming events to let
people know there is a genealogy group in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area that they can join. Please submit your ideas to this Webmaster with IAGG Flyer in the subject line. Thank you.
