Our next quarterly meeting will be held on:

14 October 2023

The Italian-American Genealogy Group (Washington DC Metropolitan Area) meets quarterly on Saturdays.

Our next meeting is planned for 14 October 2023. Absent genealogy discussion, the Webmaster will have just returned from visiting several regions of Italy and relate his travel experiences. We have our previous meeting room at the McLean Government Center. The condition for using the room is set by the Government Center and will likely align to CDC guidelines, whatever they may be in July (currently no masks are required)! You should receive an e-mail closer to the meeting date with updated guidance.

Who is Il Circolo Filippo Mazzei ?

Signor Mazzei was one of the great contributors to the American Declaration of Independence. He came to America from Tuscany, Italy to live a few miles outside of Charlottesville, Virginia and was a neighbor of Thomas Jefferson.
